Bach Consort

FINAL CONCERT OF THE YEAR - I once again had the chance to perform with an outstanding early music/baroque ensemble - the Washington Bach Consort.  DC has a large and thriving early music scene - and while I am not an early music player - there are times that I get to come in and play "contemporary" percussion parts with various groups in town.  I've done it with the Folger consort, and now again with the Bach Consort.  A couple of years ago we did a special "Bach on Bars" concert for a donor event - I  played vibes just a couple of feet away from Sen. Rockefeller!!!
 This time the La Montaine 9 lessons of Christmas.  A wonderful group of musicians, lead by the dynamic and gifted Reilly Lewis.  A terrific way to end this part of the Season!
